How many batches are there in a year?

There are two batches in a year – July & January.

What is the eligibility criteria?

Bachelors Degree from a recognised Indian / International University.

What documents are required at the time of admission?

A copy of your Degree certificate and 1 recent passport size photograph.

How is the admission process?

Following are the steps to apply for the program:
  • Fill up the online application form
  • Upload copies of your graduation certificate, recent passport size photograph & Aadhaar card.
  • Pay program application fees Rs.500/- (+ 18% GST) through online mode and complete the online application process.
  • Incase of selection, of your application, you will be invited for a physical/online interview.
  • Incase of your final selection you will be informed about the same.
  • Pay the program fees through online/offline mode.
  • Your admission will be confirmed.

Yes, there will be a personal interview round, if your application is approved.

Whether the program is recognised by UGC/AICTE/University of Mumbai?

This is an autonomous program of S. P. Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management, Development & Research. The program is developed to help citizen to understand various functions related to effective Temple management and for the benefit of all the stakeholders connected to the Temple Eco-system.

What is the mode for paying the fees?

You can pay the fees through Online mode/Cheque/DD payable at S. P. Mandali’s Prin. L.N. Welingkar Institute of Management, Development & Research, Mumbai.

What happens if I decide to cancel my admission?

Should you decide to revisit your PGPTM and career advancement aspirations, we would respect your decision. Upon being granted admission, you would be eligible to request cancellation for up to 45 days from the date of registration.

Following is the cancellation policy:
Within 1-15 days of admission-10% of the program
Within 16-30 days of admission -20% of the program
Within 31-45 days of admission- 50% of the program
After 45 days of admission-100% of the program (i.e. No Refund)
Fees

What is the course fee?

Application fees Rs.500 /- + 18% GST
Course Fees is Rs. 25000/- + 18% GST

Are there any other hidden fees apart from course fees?

There are no hidden fees that you would be required to pay in order to complete your program successfully. However, optional events such as weekend workshops may incur nominal fees of Rs.1500 or more per workshop.

What are the re-examination fees?

Re-examination fees is Rs.750 per subject.

What are the fees for additional certificate/marksheet copies?

These can be availed for Rs.1000 per document
Program Details

How is the program structured?

The program has four major components along with few learning aids which can be availed on optimal basis.
  • Academic sessions
  • Soft skills : Workshops will be conducted for 10 core skills
  • Guest sessions by dignitaries from Temple Eco-system
  • On-the-Job training

What is the program duration and do I get an extension?

The PGPTM is of 6 months duration. The maximum duration is 1 year to allow you sufficient time to balance your professional and academic commitments.

Where the lecture and workshops will be conducted?

The lecture and workshops will be conducted at the Mumbai campus of the S. P. Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management, Development & Research.

Do you provide accommodation facility, if the student is not residing in Mumbai?

We are happy to allow you to arrange your own "Home" or Place of stay.

How do you approach soft skills development?

As part of Hybrid learning approach, you will have access to a host of tools to enhance your soft-skills. This includes weekend workshops at the Mumbai campus, which are separately charged, as well as several other virtual interaction opportunities.

Do I get internship assistance?

Most of the students joining this program are already associated with some spiritual entity and they can continue their On-the-Job training/internship component with the same organisation/temple. However, assistance will be provided deserving candidates to obtain On-the-Job training.
Exams

How is the examination and evaluation process?

The students shall be evaluated basis continuous evaluation and end term evaluation. Minimum passing criteria shall be 50% marks in every subject. Once a student fails in any of the subject, he/she has to appear for a re-exam in that particular subject by filling up the re-exam form & paying re-exam fees of Rs.750/-

What happens if I am unable to appear for my exam at the scheduled time or if I fail an exam?

In both instances, you can reappear or the exam by filling up the relevant form online and paying re-examination fees of Rs.750 per subject.
Certification

What qualification do I get on successful completion of the program?

On successful completion of the program, students will be awarded qualification of Post Graduate Program in Temple Management (PGPTM).

Whether the program certificate is awarded by the University of Mumbai?

No, The certificate is awarded by S. P. Mandali’s Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management, Development & Research, Mumbai.

Do I get confirmed placement after completion of the program?

There is no placement assurance after completion of the program. However, with large number of Temples in the country, there is huge potential for manpower having structured knowledge to assist in smooth functioning of Temples.
